GETTING A DRINK
Wine and beer is for sale at almost any supermarket or convenience store, 7 days a week and pretty late at that. Probably not on Sunday mornings.
Liquor in larger towns and cities is sold by the state in state stores ... watch out they tend to close early.
In smaller towns, local merchants have a license from the state ... these stores may close very early.

SISTERS HONORABLE MENTION:
New Mexican Place, on the east end of town.
I haven't been there myself. I can tell it is viable, based on
who I know who likes it there.
Mexican at the Gas Station on the west end of
town. Literally in the gas station
Slick's BBQ ... despite the decorations and
pictures of many of the country's great places ... you are not at any of
them and you are here and it is worth eating ... I suspect best-est,
when they are busy-est.
ON THE WAY TO REDMOND
... The Silver Leaf cafe ... good coffee, good cookies, lunch was
very good, I suspect they may put the microwave to a little more use
than they should ... my wrap wrapping was a little pasty.
Worthwhile
